About Growth Pathfinder
I founded Growth Pathfinder on the idea that we all have limitations that can hold us back or lead us to under-perform and that these limitations can be overcome. Leading us to achieve and accomplish more than we thought we could.
How do I know what I’m talking about?
After starting my professional life as an engineer in Japan, I worked my way up to becoming the CEO of the North and South American division of mid-size European company.
Although I’d built a business from scratch and ran for 4 years. This was my first formal leadership position as a CEO. I ended up setting aside my intuition and focused on getting results without really inspiring the people I lead. Or nurturing the relationships with those to whom I reported. I accomplished the goal, ruined relationships and paid the price. I then went looking to understand what I could have done differently. In doing so I discovered some patterns that I tended to repeat in a variety of situations. I committed my self to growing beyond my limitations.
That’s how my journey started. Not only do I help my clients deal effectively with challenging situations. As an executive board member in a nonprofit, I use this leadership position to put my learnings into practice, not just for myself, most importantly for the benefit those in the organization that also need help. It is also in this role that I continue to gain insights from leading an organization that I learn from and then pass on the learnings.
